This beautiful, handcrafted silver Angel Caller pendant is a contemporary design, reminiscent of the celestial armillary; spheres within spheres. The centre is a ball which emits a wonderful, gentle chime as the pendant moves. Legend states thousands of years ago Angels gave them to fleeing Elves for protection - when rung, an Angel would come to the rescue. The only stipulation was the recipient should never give the charm away, or the magic would vanish. It is believed you can call your Guardian Angel by the sweet tinkling of the chime. Angel Callers have been used since Medieval times as protection and, in particular, expectant mothers wear a caller to protect their unborn from negative energy; giving rise to the popular name, 'pregnancy chime'. A lovely item as a gift, or simply to bring you personal harmony!
