Description

The Book of the Goetia of Solomon the King; Translated into English Tongue by a Dead Hand and Adorned with Divers Other Matters Germane Delightful to the Wise. Facsimile edition (of the Boleskine edition, 1904) published by The Equinox (Booksellers and Publishers) Ltd., in Kensington, London, in the mid 1970s. The Led Zeppelin guitarist, Jimmy Page, opened the occult bookshop and publishing house called The Equinox at 4 Holland Street, Kensington, London. The Equinox Booksellers and Publishers to give it it’s full name although a shop, was never designed to make money but to enable him to acquire and publish books. In an autobiography Jimmy Page wrote “There was not one bookshop in London with a good collection of occult books and I was so pissed off not being able to get the books I wanted”.
