The Book of the Law, The Illuminated Edition.
London: Neptune Press, 2004. Special Limited Edition. Hardcover. Unpaginated: Green cloth, with gilt titles to spine and upper board, red end papers. Edition limited to 500 copies. This edition being a special sub-limitation of 31 copies containing an original mezzotint by Jameson of which this is No. 6.  This copy is also signed by the artist, Susan Jameson .

A special 'illuminated edition' of The Book of the Law, issued to celebrate the centenary of its 'reception' by Aleister Crowley and his wife, Rose, in Cairo in April 1904. Its comprises a sixteen page Introduction compiled from various lesser-known writings of Crowley's on the subject by Hymenaeus Beta, the illustrated section: 26 leaves, printed on one side only, with the text of the Book of the Law set in a black type, within a border, around which are the intricate color illustrations by Susan Jameson. The artist/designer of the Via Tarot, Jameson is a professional artist, well known in British Thelemic circles. The illustrated section is followed by a reproduction of the original holograph manuscript of The Book of the Law, printed in red.

A slight bump to end of spine otherwise a lovely, unused copy in Fine condition (no dust jacket issued).
